Clinic Staff
Joe Kafati, DPT, Owner graduated from the University of St. Augustine in 2001 with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy and also has earned his MTC (Manual Therapy Certification). Over the years Joe has worked in a variety of out-patient settings and proudly opened Rebound Physical Therapy in October 2006.
Joe's ability to provide personalized care to his patients is enhanced by his fluency in Spanish. When away from the clinic, Joe enjoys spending time with family, playing any and all sports, and trying to keep up with his young son.
With a passion for quality care in a compassionate setting, the Towne Lake community has embraced Joe with open arms. With specialties in vestibular rehabilitation, complex orthopedic injuries, sports related injuries, and workers compensation, Rebound is a place where patients can go for complete care.
Katie Lawrence, MPT, graduated from Medical College of Georgia in 2002 with a Master of Physical Therapy and joined Rebound Physical Therapy in April of 2009.
She has six years of experience in outpatient physical therapy treating a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions. An area of specialization for Katie is vestibular rehabilitation for the treatment of vertigo.
LeAnn Jones, PT, joined Rebound’s staff in 2006. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1990. Since then she has worked in a variety of clinical settings
treating all ages and diagnosis, including stroke and spinal cord rehab, prosthetic training, traumatic brain injuries, Guillain-Barre, wound care, orthopedic injuries, post surgical rehab and aquatic therapy.
LeAnn leads the aquatic therapy team, and is excited to help Rebound bring this new program into our community. LeAnn was a
competitive swimmer throughout college and continues today to swim for exercise. She is always very
excited about the opportunity to provide therapy in the water.
Business Office Staff
Kelly Southworth, Business Office Manager, joined Rebound PT in 2007. She has been in the medical field for over ten years.
Before joining Rebound, she worked as a medical assistant for a renowned orthopedic doctor in the Atlanta area, and has done medical billing for a multitude of medical specialties. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
